"Even those of us who work with Texas Silk day in and day out, are continually finding new applications for its use. For example, the other night my wife and I were watching cartoons with our two and a half year old grandson, Brendan. The cartoons, or "car-noons" as he calls them, are the old Looney Tunes/Warner Bros. cartoons on DVD. These have been so watched and used, they are all scratched pretty bad. On this night, as usual, one of them started acting up. The screen freezes up and causes the whole thing to go wacko. The usual fix is to try to clean the disc. I decided to clean the disc with Texas Silk. After cleaning the disc with Texas Silk, I put it back in the player, and it played perfectly. Even in the places where it usually would mess up, it played through so smooth and perfect. I WAS AMAZED. It won't remove the scratches, but it seems to allow the infra-red eye of the player to just glide right over most of them.

Why does it work? Since Texas Silk does not produce static electricity during application, this causes two great things to happen. First, it does not attract dust to the disc, which is one of the main reasons for the disc not being read properly. Plus the fact that it removes any static built up on the disc, which helps the disc to be read correctly. THIS IS SOME AMAZING STUFF!!!

I would like to wholeheartedly recommend Texas Silk as the new miracle cleaning product! I know it was designed to clean cars, but I have found other uses for this amazing product.
