Product Testing
In laboratory testing performed by Brain Wave Technologies of Madison, WI., Texas Silk was compared to some of the leading waxes and enhancers that are available on the market today and Texas Silk came out NUMBER ONE.
Texas Silk was tested against the following waxes and enhancers available on the current market:
- Turtle Wax
- Mother's California Gold
- Meguiar's Gold Class
- Perfect-It Gloss Enhancer
- Eagle One Wet Wipe and Shine
- Mequiar's Quik Detailer
Testing was conducted in four specific areas: reflectivity, depth of shine, water resistance and ability to shed dust. In a head-to-head comparision with the aboved named products, Texas Silk was named the Number One product overall. Plus, Texas Silk is 99.95% organic.
The laboratory testing found that Texas Silk is more organic than an apple! Environmentally Safe!

The results show that the three products compared with Texas Silk:
- Are only enhancers. "Texas Silk" is a TRUE WAX.
- Contains irritants, i.e., surfactants, which may require first aid. This is the reason for the warnings on the containers. "Texas Silk" is pure hypoallergenic.
- Lasts only 1-2 days. "Texas Silk", because it is a real wax, last as long as any good wax on the market.
